Breakbulk & OOG Cargo Delivered By CEA
CEA Project Logistics carried out the transportation of 71 pieces of Breakbulk and Out Of Gauge (OOG) cargo from a steel fabrication plant in Chonburi Thailand to Laem Chabang port for loading and export.
The first day of the transportation project began at 1300 with the loading of trailers of both OOG and regular Breakbulk cargo. At 2000 the convoy of trucks and trailers left the fabrication plant to make the 25km journey to Laem Chabang Port, a Police Escort and a CEA Escort Vehicle were in attendance to ensure a safe transportation throughout the project. The convoy arrived at the port at 2200 and parked overnight in the CEA Free Trade Zone until the next morning when Vessel operations would commence.
The following day the convoy left the CEA Free Trade Zone at 0200 and made the short journey to Laem Chabang Port C-0. The vessel was berthed and loading began at 0300hrs. At 0600hrs the final convoy of trucks and trailers left the steel fabrication plant and headed again to Laem Chabang Port. All cargoes were delivered, loaded and secured by 1600.
